Description: A silverpost medieval buckle missing only its iron pin, a fragment of corroded iron survives in the pin slot. The frame is oval in shape with a central bar and there is an attached folded sheet plate, which is rectangular in shape and tapers to a rounded terminal at its attachment end. The inner edge of the front face of the frame is decorated with a border of circular dots. The plate has one rivet with a decorative boss for attachment, which is in the form of a rose. A rim fragment of a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel which could date from 1300-1600. The rim is slightly thickened and the fragment, which is roughly rectangular in shape measures 36mm by 28mm in size. There are traces of a black patina, especailly on the inner face of this fragment.
