A heavily worn early postmedieval (c. 16th century) hooked tag cast in copper alloy. The tag is flat in cross section, with openwork, foliate ornament. At one terminal there is a large, rounded hook, of approximately the same length as the decorated body of the tag. The entire tag measures 28.2mm long from tip to tip, is 14.5mm wide at its widest point, and has a maximum thickness of 2.7mm (at the centre of the plate)

A copper alloy horse harness pendant of Medieval date. The pendant is roughly square with a suspension loop extending vertically from the body. The loop remains attached to the suspension mount via an iron pin. The mount is incomplete, having broken or corroded at the point where it's rivet would have been attached. The pendant body has a raised, scalloped boarder which defines a slightly raised central square panel filled with dark blue or black enamel. It measures 38.5mm in length and has a cutting edge max. 24.8mm wide. At the socket end (narrowest part) it is 16.8mm wide. It weighs 31.28g. A cast copper alloy dress fastener hook-piece of probable seventeenth century date. The fastener measures 36.3mm by 15.8mm by 2.6mm and weighs 3.2g. It has an oval plate with a trapezoidal loop at one end. At the other end there is a small incomplete projecting circular loop and there were originally two further circular loops on each side of the plate adjacent to the trapezoidal hook, although one of these is incomplete. The small holes may have been used for attachment to cloth. The front of the plate has faint moulded floriate decoration and the back in slightly concave.

A cast copper alloy finger ring of late medieval or post-medieval date. The slightly distorted hoop measures 17.8mm in diameter, it is 5.5mm wide and 1.2mm thick. It weighs 2.4g. The hoop has a rectangular cross-section and its width and thickness are consistent all the way round. On the exterior of the hoop there is a stamped pattern formed from wide and hollowed X-shapes, bordered by narrower X-shapes, alternating with diagonal branches. Copper alloy harness pendant. The plate of the pendant is a sheet of copper alloy, undecorated, with one area bent at a right angle to the back of the sheet. The body probably had a rounded trapezoid plan when whole. The tag for suspension is perpendicular to the body of the pendant. The perforation is full of iron, probably the remains of the chain.

Medieval lead papal bulla of Honorius III, 1216-27. It is 37.8-38.6mm in diameter and 4.3mm thick. It weighs 46.68g. The obverse depicts St Peter and St Paul facing each other within a beaded border, and C and backwards-C beaded border joining to the main surrounds either head. On the left, St Paul has a long, pointed-oval shaped beard below a head with short vertical ribs suggesting swept-back hair (although this is rather worn). Cast copper alloy strap end of Anglo-Scandinavian design. The zoomorphic terminal is worn, but apparent in the eyes, these being rounded areas in relief, with the surrounding area carved away at a soft angle away from the raised area. There is crescent at the base of the head and two rows of three crescents in the upper part of the strap end. The upper part of the strap end has been broken after the rows of crescents.

A cast copper alloy pendent loop and bar mount of medieval date. The quadrilobate loop and the adjacent mount measure 20.5mm by 11.8mm by 4mm and weigh 1.2g. The plain rectangular bar mount has a narrowed backwards-curving loop at its base. This has an expanded terminal to the rear which is rivetted to the front section, so it could be attached to a strap. The loop upper lobe is straight, so it can be suspended from the bar mount. A similar example is illustrated in Egan and Pritchard's 'Dress Accessories' (1991, pp. 219, 221, no. 1189).

Medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant with much of its front surface thickly gilded. There is some slight edge damage just below the loop. In shape it is an elongated drop, the wider end being at the top just below the loop, which is turned through 90°. The point extends into a roundish knop (missing much of its gilding). In section, the harness pendant is D-shaped, being flat to the reverse and rounded to the front. The centre of the pendant, its highest point, is where the little amount of lost gilding is from.
