An incomplete medieval cast copper-alloy buckle frame. The buckle frame is oval shaped, two knops flank a constriction on the outer edge, the roller and pin are now missing. There is a folded sheet copper-alloy fragment around the stright bar, the remians of a sheet plate (Egan & Pritchard, 1991: p.73, plate 298). Length 23.94mm, width 21.09mm, thickness 4.51mm, weight 3.93g.

An almost complete copper alloy Roman brooch of the Wirral type dating to c.AD 100-200. The brooch is almost complete, missing just the hinge mechanism and pin. It presents a stepped head the top of which connects to the headloop. On the reverse of the head is the remains of the hinge mechanism which has a small section of the pin remaining emerging from each side out of two rivet holes.  From the base of the head stretches the bow which begins in a slightly rounded arch that then curves inwards and tapers towards a narrowed foot. A complete medieval copper alloy casket key, dating from about AD 1150 - 1350. It has a lozenge shaped bow with a large central, circular perforation, separated from the stem by a bulbous collar. The stem is hollow at the bit end, and there is a rectangular bit, curved on the leading and outer edge corner (furthest from the stem), with a cleft in the front or leading edge. A cast copper alloy double looped rectangular buckle of later medieval date, complete with plate. The frame is 20.8mm in length and has cable style decoration of oblique incised lines running around the edges. The plate is made of a piece of sheet metal, 18.2mm wide and has lost most of its edges. It was originally sub rectangular or perhaps semi circular in shape and undecorated, with rivet holes at the rear edge, one of which is partially retained. Traces of a lost iron pin remain on the bar and frame.

Medieval copper alloy hanger, probably from a hanging lamp. A central shank of roughly circular cross section is topped by a loop. At the base of the shank are three radiating arms, each of which terminates in a loop. Under the base is a broken loop and a hole has been drilled at the intersection of two of the arms which forms a right angle with the remains of the broken loop. There are file marks across most of the object indicating finishing. Weight 8.68g, height approximately 32mm. See Egan, Medieval Households, p.130-1. 14th/15th century.

A barbed and tanged flint arrowhead, 31mm in length, dating to the early Bronze Age / Beaker period (c. 2500 BC-c. 1500 BC) and made from a pale brown flint. The arrowhead is triangular with lenticular cross-section and has scaled and low angle retouch on both sides. The barbs are longer than the tang and convex on the outer edges with obliquely angled tips (Type C) and the tang is narrow and rounded (Type G).  This example fits into the sub-classification of non-Fancy B&T arrowheads best described as Green Low types (Butler 2005: 162-165, after Green (1980).
