Dark grey-brown flint blade. A thick sub-triangular flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a bulbar ventral surface with smaller flakes struck by hard hammer working from the ventral aspect. Very short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows one long straight edge, possibly forming a knife on whose cutting edge pressure might be brought to bear with the user’s thumb resting in the dorsal concave surface. A cast copper-alloy Medieval single loop 'D'-shaped buckle, dating to c.AD 1200-1400.   Description: The D-shaped frame has steeply sloping surfaces and reaches its maximum width at the centre of the outer bar, with the axis bar being offset. The frame is undecorated and the pin is missing. Measurements: Length: 20.72 mm; Width: 13.7 mm; Thickness: 4.11 mm and Weight: 2.28 g. Discussion: This buckle is dated to the Medieval period due to the similarities in Whitehead (2003), No.54 and see also OXON-2D163D on this database.

A complete copper alloy Toggle of Iron Age to Roman date (200 BC-AD 150). The object is sub-ovate in form, with upturned rounded terminals, a convex upper surface with two circular knops, one on either side of the upper frame. The upper portion between the knops is steeply convex. The middle section of the frame has an ovate aperture with slightly upturned upper ends. A complete copper alloy Harness pendant of Medieval date (AD 1200-1400). The object is cross-shaped in plan and D shaped in section. The upper arm is elongated to for a suspension loop, which is narrowed and set at a right angle to plane of the pendant. The loop retains a small section of iron from the axis bar. The object has curved and expanded inner angles and a swelling to the end of each terminus. Length: 41.20mm, Width: 33.79mm, Thickness: 4.76mm, Weight: 9.0g The metal is green in colour with a slightly pitted patina.

An incomplete Medieval buckle dating to circa AD 1200-1400. The extant element consists of  the plate. The plate is rectangular, comprised of a single sheet of copper alloy folded and joined together by two separetely made rivets, only one of which now survives. At the frame end is a rectangular voided which the axis bar of the frame would have slotted through. Much of the plate on the reverse has now broken away. It is circular-sectioned and positioned btween two folded elements. The plate would have comprised a single sheet of copper alloy folded and joined together by externally made rivets.
