An incomplete and very worn cast copper-alloy key, probably of Medieval date (c. AD 1200-1400). Only part of the circular-sectioned stem and triangular bit survives. The stem is broken at the non-bit end and tapers to a rounded point. The stem thickens towards the bit. The bit projects at 90 degrees from the stem and is solid in compistion. The entire object very worn and abraded. The patina is light green.
The key measures 20.9mm long. The stem is a maximum of 2.7mm thickness. The bit is 8.1mm wide and 2.3mm thick. The key weighs 1.41 grams.

A complete cast copper-alloy awl probably of Later Bronze Age date (c.1500-800 BC). The awl is divided into two halves separated by the widest mid-point that is 5.2mm wide and 4.6mm thick. One half is square in cross section and narrows to a point. The other half is rectangular in cross-section and thins to a flat rounded chisel edge that is 3.4mm wide and 1.2mm thick.
The awl has dark brown patination with a few areas of lamination which are light brown.
The awl is 53.3mm long, 4.6mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 4.12 grams.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy brooch (Nauheim derivative) of Iron Age to Roman date (c.50BC-AD50).
Description: The brooch has a four-coiled spring with internal chord. The pin is broken near the coil. The spring and bow are rectangular in cross-section, tapering slightly to the pointed foot. There is a solid rectangular catchplate on the back of the foot. The brooch has a medium green patina and is bent at >90 degrees the bottom.

A worn cast copper-alloy unidentified object of probable Iron Age to Roman date (c.100BC-AD250).
Description: The object consists of an axe-shaped plate, slightly rounded on one side and flat on the other. The shaft is set about half-way along the head. The more rounded side raised ridge running down the centre from the centre of the axe head along most of the length of the shaft. The surface has a grey-green patina.

Description: The brooch is broadly circular in plan and flat in cross-section. A complete cast gold inscribed 'posy' (or ‘posie’)-type finger-ring of post-medieval date c.1600-1800
Description: The hoop, once circular in plan, is now bent slightly and D-shaped in cross-section. The exteriror surface is plain while the interiror is engraved with an inscription. The inscription, which runs around the internal circumference, is in lower case, italic and reads 'Hope is all my comfort’. There is a visible makers mark which is unidentifiable.
