An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy dress hook probably dating to c. AD 1550-1700. The remains of the fastener consists of a broadly sub-rectangular flattened plate which has been extruded and bent over into a hook. The front of the hook is plain and undecorated and is slightly convex. At the opposite end of the hook is an ancient break. The reverse of the fastener is slightly concave. A incomplete Roman copper-alloy Colchester derrivative brooch, dating to c.AD 75 - 175.  The brooch is in two parts The upper bow and wings form one half, the lower bow and catchplate form the other, the pin is missing. The hollow cylindrical wings are undecorated, the upper bow has a central protruding rib along the bow, at the top of this ridge is a circular loop, the rib terminates at the foot of the brooch. From the squared terminal the side of the strip gradually narrow to an old worn transverse break. Most of the strip is plain. The larger terminal is decorated with four transverse grooves of varying width and depth. The underside is relatively flat and undecorated. An incomplete medieval copper alloy anonymous seal matrix dating between AD 1300-1400. The seal is vesica shaped and the die inscribed with a standing facing figure wearing a long robe or gown. The head is triangular with a flat top;  a T shape forming the brow and nose with two pellets for the eyes and a straight mouth.
