A worn and incomplete copper-alloy hexagonal 'norse' clapper bell of Early Medieval date (c.AD 850-1050) .
The sides are divided into six evenly spaced straight faces with shallow U-shaped notches at the base. At the top is a complete integrally cast rectangular suspension loop with a central circular hole. One side of the bell is missing. The clapper is also missing.
It has a light green surface patina. It measures: length 24.9mm, width 20.8mm, thickness of wall 1.6mm. It weighs 5.3 grams.

The brooch is broken at its centre and in two pieces. The foot and head loop are missing.

The buckle is sub-triangular in plan and has a single D-shaped loop. It has a narrow and off-set axis bar. There are sub rectangular mouldings at the end of each side of the strap bar as it joins the frame. The pin is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. An incomplete cast copper alloy zoomorphic fitting, dating to the Post Medieval to modern period (c. AD 1700-1900).
The object takes the form of a dolphin with its mouth open, tongue sticking out and tail curving downwards. It has moulded features on both sides including a pectoral fin, dorsal fin and eye. The tail has raised edges and a U shaped centre on both sides and terminates at a broken transverse end, therefore missing the flukes. A visible cast line is present around the object.
