The candle holder is incomplete, the cup and half the shaft surviving with the lower shaft lost to a worn break. A complete Medieval copper alloy casket key dating to c. AD 1150-1450. The bow of the key is circular with an oval cross section and internal diameter of 5.18mm. The solid stem is sub-rectangular in cross section, extending from the base of the bow and terminating in a projecting pin beyond the bit. The Jew's harp comprises a sub circular head with two tapering prongs, and is lozenge-shaped in cross section.
