A post-medieval rose farthing of Charles I (1625-49), North's type 2, initial mark uncertain, struck at the Tower, London, c.1635-44. Corroded and with two pieces missing from the flan, mostly illegible but the rose and the unmistakable "square" shape is instantly recognisable.. Reference: North 2291. Spink 2015 3204 page 320.

Good condition tin halfpenny of William III and Mary II. The obverse has a right facing double bust of the two monarchs surrounded by the legend GVLIELMVS ET MARIA. The reverse depicts a left facing seated Britannia with a shield and spear, with the legend BRITANNIA. The date 1694 is below the seated figure. Tin halfpennies were replaced in that year with copper alloy coins.

Mid - late 17th Century. Copper alloy, trader's halfpenny token. Extremely poor condition, illegible but obverse has a chequer board design probably indicating issued from the Chequers Inn. Reverse probably reads 'His half penny' within the inner circle.
