A worn Iron Age silver unit of Tasciovanus, ruler of the Atrebates c. 20 BC - c. AD 10. This coin has been identified by Dr Philip de Jersey as the rare 'Berkshire Wreath' type (ABC 2616). This is a very rare coin, with one example published in the British Numismatic Journal Coin Register 1998, no. 18, and another recorded on this database (BERK-A96943).

An Iron Age silver coin;a North Eastern uninscribed unit attributed to the Corieltauvi, Hostidius boar and horse type, dating from about 55 - 45 BC (Haselgrove Period II, Phase 6). The coin is dished and oval in plan. The coin has a pearly cream patina with some patches of dark grey. It is complete and in excellent condition. See Van Arsdell, R. D.
