A heavily worn late Medieval copper-alloy French jetton of the 'standing King under canopy' type, dating to c.1300-1400.
The obverse depicts a King standing beneath arches with a very worn uncertain inscription, possibly, AV[E M]ARIA. The reverse depicts a triple stranded cross fleuretty with lis in the angles, all within a four arched tressure with AVE in all four spandrels.
Diameter 21mm, thickness 1.8mm, weight 2.6g.

A Late-Medieval copper-alloy French jetton of the three lis type (without a shield) probably dating to c.1418-37 or slightly earlier. Probably struck at Paris.
The obverse depicts three fleur-de-lis with a star above, all within a circular pelleted border. The partial inscription appears to be fictitious : AVE [ ... ] A V A (quatrefoil) with several star letter stops. The reverse depicts a triple stranded cross fleuretty with a quatrefoil in the centre and two stars bisecting each angle, all within a four-arched tressure.

Reverse: Unsure of inscription; Imperial orb surmounted by cross within a three-arched tressure.
The jetton has suffered a bend over a quarter of its area and has a nice even patina.

A copper alloy French jetton of Tournai, dating from the Medieval period, AD1415 - 1500. The obverse carries a crown within a wire line circle, surrounded by the legend AV[E MA]RIA GRA[CIA L]. On the reverse is a double-voided cross fleuretty within a double tressure of four arches. In the centre of the cross is a voided quatrefoil and there is a flower of three petals in each of the angles. There is no reverse legend. The jetton is 22.42mm in diameter and 1.2mm thick. It weighs 2.03 g.
