A complete Medieval silver half groat of Henry VI (AD 1422-1461), second reign coinage, dating to the period AD 1470 - 1471. London mint, North 1991 Vol II, p.90, no. 1620.
Obverse description: +hEnR[IC DI GRA] REX AnGL Z FR (trefoil stops), Crowned bust facing within a tressure of nine arches.
Reverse: POSVI/DEVm A/DIVTOR/E mEVm (I have made God my Helper); CIVI/TAS/LOn/DOn, Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant.
