A modern imitation of a medieval silver penny of William I (1066-1089), Pax type (North 858-50). The reverse inscription reads STAMFORD CASTLE rather than giiving a mint and moneyer and the weight is too high for an official, medieval issue. Obverse inscription: [GVLI]ELM REX Reverse description: Short cross with circled letter in each angle, probably +PAX Reverse inscription: +STAMFORD CASTLE Diameter: 19.9mm, Weight: 1.67g…

A modern replica, roughly copying a silver penny of Henry VI (AD 1422 to AD 1461), annulet issue (AD 1422 to AD 1427). The bust and lettering are both extremely crude- it is possibly a re-enactment replica with a ficticious mint name. Diameter: 15.2 mm Thickness: 1.1 mm Weight: 0.9 g

A complete 'silver' penny of Edwardian type. The coin is most likely a modern replica appearing to have the obverse inscription DOMNIC (or similar) and the style is unlike the original coins.
