A copper-alloy dupondius, probably of Marcus Aurelius as Augustus (AD 161-180), probably a contemporary copy (Limesfalsum). 'Mint of Rome', AD 174-175. RIC III, cf pp. 301-303. This coin appears to come from the same dies / mould as BH-989326. It is not clear if the coin is struck or cast. Dimensions: 22.5mm diameter, 3.2mm thick. Weight: 8.61g.

Copper alloy dupondius, probably of Marcus Aurelius (AD 161-180), with a radiate head facing right with curly hair coming off the forehead on the obverse, like BMC Vol. IV (ii), Plate 72, Fig.9. Reverse looks like FEL TEM TR P XV COS III S C type, with draped figure of Felicitas standing front, head left, holding cornucopiae in her left arm, and a square object, which could be a caduceus, in the outstretched right hand, as BMC Vol. IV (ii), Plate 72, Fig.7; BMC 845.

A very worn, corroded and slightly depleted 2nd-century copper-alloy Roman dupondius of Marcus Aurelius, 'PRIMI DECENNALES COS III - S C', Rome mint (c. 170 - c. 171 AD; Reece issue period 8; cf. R.I.C. 1004/1008). Much of the surface patina has been lost on both faces towards the circumference.
