An incomplete early medieval copper alloy Anglo Saxon shield on tongue pin for a single loop D or oval shaped buckle dating to c.AD 450-625. On the outer face, the shield of the pin is smooth, polished and undecorated. It is a waisted oval shape with a rounded semi-circular end then two rounded semi-circular cut-outs opposite each other which flare out below to form two rectangular lobes with a nick in each short projecting edge. Middle Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy pin with globular head and an integral collared shaft. The shaft is bent once (around 70-80 degrees) and may be complete. It measures approximately 42mm from the collar at base of the head to the tapering but blunt tip. The head is almost entirely covered with punched ring-and-dot impressions. A copper-alloy footplate fragment of an early medieval cruciform brooch, dating to c. AD 470 - 600. The zoomorphic footplate is of a horse head, broken at the rear of the head behind two depressions reperesenting ears. The top has two raised ridges for eys, and the fragment ending has two flared nostrils, and the undersurface catchplate is missing. Length 22.3 mm, width 6 mm, thickness 6 mm and weight 4.05 g.

The find is sub rectangular with the outer edges of a narrowed and recessed split end having two semi circular projections, one above the other. Fragment of copper alloy, probably a small piece of foot from an early Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch. The fragment is C-shaped in cross-section, hollow on the reverse, and is broken at both ends (one break fairly fresh and granular, the other more worn). At one end, the front has a bold moulding, 4-5mm deep and flat-topped, which is divided into two by an off-centre transverse groove. The overall surviving length is 21.1mm, maximum width 12.8mm and maximum thickness (at moulding) 6.0mm. It weighs 4.93g. It seems likely that this is one of the mouldings at the top of a horse's …

Chunky copper-alloy bar from an early Anglo-Saxon wrist-clasp, apparently of Hines Form B10 or possibly alternatively B4. The bar is cast in one piece, with three cuboidal elements, one in the centre and one at either end. The thickened end (4.6 mm thick) is decorated with cast transverse ribs: two raised bands, followed by a space, then a further two bands. A medial ridge runs the entire length of the extant piece. A complete cast copper alloy early medieval (Anglo Saxon) strap end (cf. Thomas Class A2h). The plate is narrow and oval, waisted to a flared rear end which is characteristically split but incomplete having  broken across the rivet holes on the edge. The front of the plate is decorated with cross hatching or lattice decoration within a linear border. The terminal is zoomorphic, although now too worn for much detail to be visible.
