Incomplete Early Medieval gilded copper alloy button brooch that features a stylised human face ( possibly Class B). The brooch is circular in plan and sub-rectangular in section. Parts of the rim, pin and catch-plate are missing or corroded due to presence of corroded iron pin being present. The rim is upturned and flaring at an angle of about 45°. An early medieval  silver early penny (sceat) of Secondary Phase 'Victory' type (BMC Type 22) dating to c.AD 710-25. Refs: Metcalf 1994: p.440-3, pl. 21 nos 350-1 (esp. 350); Abramson 2006: 32 and 81. The coin is chipped around much of th edge and there is evidene for some copper corrosion on the obverse surface. The coin is very similar in style to one found at Bawsey, Norfolk (Metcalf 1994: p. 442, no 5. Obverse: Winnged, tuniced figure walking right, symbols in front. Reverse: Facing, winged figure standing in a boat-shaped curve, cross beneath each wing.

Early medieval cast gilded silver object, possibly a cruciform brooch knob. The object is sub rectangular in form with a raised central humanoid face bordered by a projecting zoomorphic figure on one side. Button brooch with a missing pin The face is gilded, although a little gold is worn off at the rim and from the raised parts of the face (forehead, nose, brows, cheeks, and eyes). The face is Type A2 style, surrounded by a large rim. Type A2 - small nose, pointed helmet, even and small pointed eyebrows, high eyes, full cheek, small moustache. The rear of the brooch has severe oxidisation around the catch; no other oxidisation or damage is evident.

An Anglo-Saxon button brooch made of copper alloy with gold gilding. There are remains of gilding on the face, mostly concentrated around the edges. The face is circled by a single ring before a small rim. This brooch appears to be of Type A3 - the eyebrows are relatively straight with little points, full cheeks, high eyes and cheek bones, small moustache and long nose. The reverse of the brooch is corroded and missing the pin; otherwise the brooch is in fair condition.

A fragment of an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy small long brooch (c. 450-c. 550). This fragment is the foot which has a transverse break at the top. It is roughly lozenge-shaped in plan and terminates with a double lobe. At the front each lobe has a small circular pit as decoration. There is part of an off-centre catch-plate on the reverse. The brooch is drab green with patches of a darker green patina. The break is old. Length: 25.4mm; width: 12.3mm; width at lobes: 7.2mm; thickness: 1.5mm; thickness including catch-plate: 5.4mm. Weight: 2.46g.

An incomplete and corroded Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy strap-end (c. 700-c. 900). This strap-end is sub-oval in plan, narrower at the terminal end. At the attachment end there are two rivet holes, one is incomplete and the other has the remains of a copper-alloy rivet. The terminal was probably zoomorphic in form. A fragment of a copper-alloy brooch, probably an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) ansate brooch. Probably Weetch Type VII (c. 700-c. 900). This fragment is part of the bow and part of the foot. At the front two incised oblique grooves form a 'V' shape. There is a break at each end. The bow is ‘D’-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear except for sub-square depression which could be a casting imperfection. The stub of the catch-plate is off-centre. The fragment is corroded and pale green with mid-brown flecks. Length: 21.0mm; width: 9.7mm; thickness: 4.1mm. Weight: 2.11g.

A complete but misshapen Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy pin (c. 700- c. 900). The undecorated head is circular in plan and biconical in form with a vestigial collar beneath the head. The pin shaft tapers to a point and is circular in cross-section. Beneath the collar the shaft has a maximum diameter of 2.0mm. This pin is reddish brown overall.
