A complete flint scraper of probable Mesolithic date 8300-3500 BC. The lithic is sub-rectangular and the dorsal surface contains negative scarring and retouch to the left hand side. Cortex predominates the right hand side and contains no discernable retouch. Both the proximal and distal ends are abruptly blunted with evidence of retouch to both. An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval sub-rectangular shoe or knee buckle, c. 1660-c. 1720 AD. The remains of the buckle consist of a drilled frame, which would have held a separate spindle. The frame is decorated on the outer face with moulded decoration including moulded transverse lines and a knop at either end of the spindle bar; a sub-triangular knop projects on the interior side of the outer frame edges. An undatable (Late Iron Age to Post-Medieval) copper alloy multi-purpose ring, circular in cross-section . It measures 34.86x34.43mm in 'diameter' (internal c.25mm) and weighs 13.65g. It has a smooth dark green patina. Rings like these are numerous and would have been multi-purpose, eg.for hanging keys from a belt etc. As this example is rather more robust it may have had use with harness. It appears out of shape in places, suggesting it has been pulled on by a heavy weight.

The scraper is a oval with flat base, the dorsal surface has one central arrise with several negative scars and cortex present at the distal end, a small amount of retouch is present. The ventral surface in pano-concave with a clear striking platform and bulb of percussion at the distal end with cracking ripples emanating from it. The flint is a mid brown with cream inclusions, the cortex is cream. Length: 32.0mm, Width: 25.8mm, Thickness: 3.9mm, Weight: 3.1g. Bond, Pg, 145, Fig, 5.313, No's, 6 & 9.

An incomplete copper alloy Early-Medieval - Medieval (600-1150) hooked tag, missing the tip of its hook. It belongs to Read's Early-Medieval Class A Type 1, 'triangular', and has two attachment holes rather wonkily arranged. It measures 18.71x11.83x1.11mm and weighs 0.57g. The front of the hooked tag is decorated with rocker-arm decoration, flanking the two long edges. One of the sewing holes is worn through, and is placed right on the edge.
