A lead token of Medieval-Post Medieval date. The token is sub circular in plan and uniface. The decorated face depicts a raised five pointed star or petalled flower, making it an example of Powell Type 1. There is a small perforation next to one of the petals. The metal is cream in colour and it weighs 8.3g, measuring 28.27mm in length, 25.44mm in width and 2.29mm in thickness. Tokens like this were used across the Medieval and Post Medieval periods making them difficult to date precisely. A broad date of 1250-1800 is therefore suggested.

A cast probably lead alloy circular brothel token, probably Post Medieval or early Modern in date, c. 1500-1800 AD. The obverse of the token depicts an erotic scene consisting of a crouching male figure with exaggerated phallus engaging a female figure from behind. Below the feet of the female there is a round, possibly spherical object. There are raised lines around the female figure, possibly indicating that the figures were laying on a bed, instead of standing. Above both figures there is a small hole, which seems to have been punched through to the other side, although this is unc…
