A medieval copper alloy annular brooch. The annular frame has a rectangular section and a small constriction for the pin at one point. It is decorated on one surface with incised oblique lignes. The narrow copper alloy pin is rectangular in cross-section and is attached with a bend loop to the frame at the constriction. Pin length: 25mm. Pin width: 3.5mm. Pin thickness: 1.5mm.

A cast copper alloy harness pendant, dating from c. 1200 - 1400AD. The pendant is circular, with damaged edges meaning the suspension loop is missing. The pendant is unusual as it has an inscription surrounding the motif. Unfortunately, due to wear and corrosion, it is impossible to make out the inscription accurately. A copper alloy spherical bell dating from the Post Medieval period. It is made in two halves, joined at the median band where there is a ridge. There are two circular sound holes in the upper half, and a slit with a hole at each end in the lower half. There is no decoration or a maker's mark. A broken tab projects from the top. This would have been perforated to act as a suspension loop, but the tab is broken before the hole. The ferrous rumbler or pea survives inside the bell.

It is broken, with about a quarter missing, but the central perforation can be seen to be 8mm in diameter. No cavity in the side wall is visible. The convex face is decorated, probably with raised dots and lines but they are so worn they cannot be clearly distinguished. The whole whorl is very worn and patinated. Spindle whorls are notoriously difficult to date, but this shape matches Coppergate type A1 which is believed to have been in use…

It is spherical in form with an integrally cast rectangular suspension loop and opposing sound holes on the upper hemisphere. It has a prominent ridge between the upper and lower hemispheres and circular sound holes conneted by a rectangular sound slot on the lower hemisphere. All sound holes and the slot are rusted closed. It is not possible to ascertain whether the ball is still present as it does not make a noise. It measures 29.91mm in diameter and weighs 43.25g.

Cast copper alloy post Medieval drop handle, probably from a furniture drawer fitting or similar. The handle is of probable late 17th or early 18th century date. It has an incomplete teardrop form, with a small, circular knop at the bottom. The top has a narrow section which has sheared off from the remainder of the fitting. The reverse of the handle is hollow. There are two incised lines around the bottom of the fitting approximately 8 mm from the knop. Two similar lines are present immediately above the bulbous section. The fitting presents a well preserved dark green patina.

An incomplete stone object, possibly a fragement of a whetstone or honeing stone used for sharpening. What remains of the object is wedge shaped, tapering from 15.82 mm wide at its widest end to 9.33 mm wide at the break. The object has been pierced, possibly for suspension, near the widest end, with a hole measuring approximately 3.6 mm in diameter. The object measures 44.11 mm long, 5.48 mm thick and weighs 5.8 grams. Its date is uncertain.

A large moulded lead weight of probable medieval or post-medieval date. The weight is circular in plan and measures 32.51 mm in diameter, 7.27 mm thick and weighs 48.3 grams. The weight is decorated on one side with eleven lozenges, resembling the petals of a flower. The reverse is worn but may have a design on it, perhaps representing two standing figures. It is possible that this apparent design has actually been accidentally moulded however. The weight is abraded and is a pale grey in colour.

An incomplete copper-alloy double looped buckle frame of early post-medieval date, probably 16th to 17th century. Only a little over half of the buckle frame remains and almost one whole loop is missing. The remaining loop is sub-oval in shape (D-shaped), rounded on the front and flat on the reverse. It is very worn but slight grooves for the pin to rest are visible on the remaining outer edge. The buckle has an abraded green patina.

A Roman Period, Copper Alloy Horse Plate Brooch facing right; 15.97mm long, 15.36mm wide, and 10.63mm thick. The Brooch weighs 2.49g and is decorated with seven enamel cells. A copper alloy Post-Medieval coin weight. It was struck in Antwerp, and the reverse bears the hand mark, the symbol for Antwerp. The figures 84 placed around the hand give the date of 1584, and the initials C I with a star indicate the maker Cornelis Janssen. These devices are contained within a circle of laurel . The obverse shows a crown over a double rose indicating that the maker was appointed by the sovereign, with the initials EC to either side. The weight is square, measuring 15.32mm x 15.74mm and is 2mm thick, weighing 3.52g.

A cast copper-alloy clapper bell of late Medieval to early Post-Medieval date. It is complete except for the clapper. It has a flared rim, rounded shoulders and a flattened upper surface. Extending from the centre of the upper surface is an integrally cast suspension loop that is flat, rectangular in form with a central circular aperture. It measures 53.57mm in height, 51.48mm in diameter at rim, 26.68mm in diameter at shoulder, 2.35mm in thickness and weighs 65.84g.

A cast copper-alloy object, probably a pendant and possibly of Roman date. The object has a circular suspension loop at the top, below which there is a drop-shaped (or pear-shaped) body, terminating in an oval knop. Immediately beneath the suspension loop there is a collared section before a long multi-faceted section. The terminal knop rests on a smooth rounded section, separated from the facted body by a groove which runs around the object. The pendant measures 26.84 mm long, 5.44 mm thick, 5.3 mm wide and weighs 2.0 grams. It has a dark grey patina.
