A fragment of a copper-alloy sword-belt fitting of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500-1650. The fragment consists of the terminal and a small part of the hook from a sword-belt fitting or similar Post-Medieval hooked strap fitting. The terminal is oval and decorated with a zoomorphic design in the form of a forward facing animal head. The reverse of the terminal is flat and undecorated. Projecting from one end of the terminal is a small portion of the hook which curves around towards the back. This hook terminates in a worn break. Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type. Rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that hold the axis bar, the spring has eight curls, but the pin is missing. There is a loop on the top of the head that holds the external cord for the spring. The front of the brooch is undecorated, the lower half of the bow is truncated.

Copper alloy bar mount that has a D-shaped cross-section. There is a rivet hole at either end that still retain the copper alloy pin rivet, who’s head is flush with the bar.
