An incomplete copper-alloy Roman crossbow brooch of 3rd - early 4th century date. There is an integral, collared, bi-conical knop with a large central pellet on top on the surviving end of the rectangular sectioned crossbar and at the top of the bow. Only a vestigial of the other end of the cross bar and the bow survive. The collars on the knops are decorated with a ropework design. The brooch appears to be a Keller type 3/4 and a Prottel type 3/4 which date from 325 - 410 AD. There is a veritcal incision running along the survivng section of the reverse and the knop at the top of the bow.

A Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop buckle, c. 1350-1650 AD. The frame has two oval loops which have flat backs and bevelled and slightly widened outer edges. The strap bar is slightly recessed and the pin is missing.It is possible that the outer surface was lacquered. The buckle measures 24.71mm long, 16.99mm wide at central strap bar, 3mm thick and weighs 3 grams. Whitehead (2003, p53) illustrates multiple similar buckles, all dating to mainly c. 1350-1650 AD.

A copper-alloy Hod Hill brooch, dating from the mid to late 1st century AD. The bow has been bent forwards forming a 'U-shaped' curve at the top. The head plate and axis bar are missing. A fragment of a Late Roman copper-alloy flat-section/ribbon-strip bracelet. The surviving fragment has straight, parallel sides and is slightly curved. The upper surface has been decorated by a combination of cast, incised and stamped elements. At one end is a transverse band comprised of three grooves with interspersing ridges. An incomplete bent copper-alloy Iron Age/Roman La Tène III, Nauheim derivative brooch dating to the 1st century AD. The spring is incomplete, one coil survives, the remainder of the spring and the pin are missing. The solid, plain bow is circular in cross-section. It rises up from the head giving the brooch a maximum height of c. 20.25mm. A cast copper alloy or buckle of post-medieval date (1660-1720). The frame of the buckle is oval in plan with two central drilled holes to which an iron axis bar is fixed. The pin which would have fitted to this bar is missing. In profile the frame is slightly bowed. There is no decoration on the frame. The buckle is bevelled on the inner face.

A cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle of post-medieval date, incomplete in that only one loop survives and it is missing its pin; there are slight vestiges of the other loop at one end of the pin bar. The surviving loop is steeply bevelled externally on the upper surface, bevelling echoed internally on the lower. The loop is decorated with a number of shallow horizontal grooves. The pin bar is bent downwards slightly.

Post Medieval cast copper alloy rectangular double loop buckle. The rectangular loops are trapezoid in cross section with bevelled inside and out. The copper alloy sheet pin is present. The buckle measures 22.3mm long by 25.57mm wide and 1.83mm thick. It weighs 3 grams. Similar buckles can be seen in Whitehead (2003) page 75 e.g. No.459, which he dates from 1570 to 1650 AD.

A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy enameled quatrefoil harness pendant. The suspension loop is at 90 degrees to the face, there is iron corrosion visible within the suspension loop. The pendant is a simple quatrefoil in plan. The front face is decorated with a central red enameled sexfoil which has an undecorated central circular recess. Four sets of trefoils expand from the sexfoil into the concave expansions of the quatrefoul, each terminal of the trefoils have a slight circular expansion at their tip. An incomplete copper-alloy La Tène I Iron Age brooch (3rd-4th century BC). The brooch is broken at its head with the pin and the spring mechanism lost. From the head (2.5mm wide) the bow curves through ninety degrees, expanding as it does so. The bow reaches a maximum thickness of 6.55mm. A cast lead weight of uncertain date. The object is sub-pyramidal in that it has a truncated, flat top. This gives it a trapezoidal cross-section. On the upper surface the square top has a raised X with a pellet in each. Between the square top and the base are four trapezoidal sides, two of which has a raised cross. A similar weight can be found in Biggs and Withers (2000, 29; ref. 62).

A fragment of a Roman wide cuff copper alloy bracelet, circa 43-100 AD. Roughly rectangular in shape with one terminal end, and the other broken in antiquity. The back is undecorated, the front has a decoration of two longtitudinal grooves and a ropework design within these.
