A Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy front-plate from a two-piece chape belonging to a dagger or sword (c. 1450-c. 1550 AD). Ward Perkins Type II. The front plate of a two-piece open-work tongue-shaped chape. It is convex at the front and hollow at the rear. At the top, its maximum width is 28.69mm. From the top the sides taper inwards to the pointed base where there is a rounded knop. Above the knop, a central vertical rib is decorated with evenly spaced oblique grooves. A complete Late Mesolithic to Early Neolithic lithic implement. This implement is sub-rectangular in plan and has been made on a large secondary blade. The dorsal surface has five main flake removals and has been crudely worked at the distal end to form a cutting edge. The ventral surface is uneven and knapping features are lost due to thermal fracturing over most of the surface. One side has an area of buff cortex. An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped annular buckle with moulded floral shape. The pin is missing. A complete cast copper-alloy ring of Unknown date. This circular ring may be a harness fitting. The outer face is convex and the inner face is bevelled on either side of its circumferential centre-line. It is slightly flattened at one point on the outer face. This ring has a mid-green patina and tiny damaged areas that are similarly patinated. There is no wear on the inside. Outer diameter: 18.41mm; inner diameter: 9.64; maximum width: 6.09mm; maximum thickness: 4.95mm. Weight: 5.58g.

An incomplete Bronze Age cast copper-alloy socketed gouge (c. 1150 BC-c. 800 BC). This is the lower part including the cutting edge. It is 'C'-shaped in cross-section and has a pronounced furrow throughout its length on the rear face. In plan, the sides taper inwards from the break at the top to the cutting edge at the bottom. The distance between the base of the socket and the base of the cutting edge is about 21.75mm. On the rear face, just below the break, there is a circular hole, about 2.32mm in diameter. An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy umbonate quatrefoil book mount of Howsam type B.1 (1300-1400 AD) The central part is domed at the front, with a small solid pellet at the apex, and concave at the rear. Two of the arms are largely missing. The surviving two arms are similar and have trefoil terminals which are both pierced for a separate rivet. Part of an iron rivet survives in one of the holes.
