Description: A Bronze Age oval-shaped penannular, gold composite ring comprising three sections of oval-sectioned gold rod, probably soldered together. The gold is light coloured and in overall good condition with a few small dents and stratches on its surface.

Maximum external diameter 15mm; maximum internal diameter 8.5mm; breadth 7mm; width of gap 4mm; weight 9.31 grams.
The piece belongs to a well known Middle Bronze Age type, decorative in nature, dating to circa 1300-1150BC.
Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface of the gold composite ring from Farndon by the British Museum indicated a gold content of approximately 82%.

Medieval damaged and incomplete cast copper alloy figurine with traces of gilding. Only the neck and head survive.The face os oval with two raised ovals for eyes. The nose is an elongated triangle and appears to be worn. The cheek bones are defined. The mouth is formed of a straight line, which is slightly depressed. Mesolithic blade, knapped from mid-grey flint. The blade is roughly rectangular in plan. It has evidence of platform preparation and has a bulb of percussion with some bulbar scaring. Previous flakes have been removed from the dorsal surface. The distal end has possible evidence of retouch, however this could be damage. It is 65.56mm long. 21.38mm wide, 6.53mm thick and weighs 9.0 grams.

Cast copper alloy 'lyre-shaped' strap end with an integral box chape and openwork terminal. The terminal comprises elaborate openwork of inverted M-shape with a lozenge-shaped terminal and side scrolls with four circular depressions on the outside edge of the frame. An incomplete copper-alloy linch pin dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period (circa 100 BC to AD 100). The pin has a flat, circular head decorated with three recessed pointed oval cells. This leaves a narrow sub-triangular ridge of reserve metal in the centre extending to the edge. The reserve metal perimeter and triangle are decorated with incised lines. Approximately one quarter of the head appears to have been worn flat, presumably having occured during its use as a linch pin.

Pottery body sherd made of coarse admixture clay. The fabric has fine inclusions of pale felspars and mica, and additional larger inclusions such as quartz not natural to the clay to make it an admixture. The colour is mid-brown on the exterior and on the interior of the sherd. This type of admixture fabric is seen in Bronze Age vessels, dating from c.2100-1150 BC (Henrietta Quinnell, forthcoming).
