A copper alloy loop from a swivel type of strap fitting dating from the Medieval period. It consists of one of originally two oval frames, each with a loop ending in zoomorphic terminals attached to a hollowed flattened hemispherical centre. The hollow area would have held a corresponding rivet projecting from the other half. The animal moulding is very worn. The mouth clasps the flattened-hemispherical centrepiece. A small copper alloy knife which probably dates from the Post Medieval period. It is unusual in having a copper alloy blade and (if complete) a very short blade. The blade has a straight back and the cutting edge curves to form a point. The blade is riveted between two plate of copper alloy which form the handle. They are rectangular and slightly tapering. A complete cast copper alloy Medieval spur rowel probably dating from about 1350 - 1400. The rowel has eight thick points, each with a bevelled edge; there is a central circular perforation. The surface patina is worn; there is mild corrosion at the apex between each point. The object is mid greyish-green in colour, is 5.6mm thick, 36.1mm in diameter and weighs 19.13g. A similar spur rowel may be found on the PAS database at record ID: SUSS-A7F844. Illustrated examples may also be seen in Clark's (1995) The Medieval Horse and it's Equipment, page 138, number 330 and page 149, number 364.

A cast lead alloy, medieval seal matrix dating from AD1200-1400. In shape it is a pointed oval and there is a central stiffening rib and the remains of a suspension loop on the upper side. The motif is of a single fleur-de-lys. Unfortunately the edge of the seal is damaged, and some sections are missing, so that only some of the letters of the legend are decipherable: "[...]O(A)EICAR[...]ARI". The matrix is 33.6mm long, 20.6mm wide and 6.3mm thick. It weighs 10.8gm.

A copper alloy flat axe fragment dating from the Early Bronze Age (2150 BC - 1500 BC). Only the cutting end survives. The butt is missing due to an ancient and well worn break across the middle of the axe. The break has taken half the surface of one face too. The axe head is rectangular in section. The cutting edge is flared at the sides but damaged. The surfaces of the axe are pitted and corroded, with a well developed green patina.

A complete, cast copper alloy hooked tag dating from AD1550-1600. There is a rectangular attachment loop and an openwork body with scalloped edges which is pierced with four circular holes on each side. There is also a central V-shaped decoration containing a cross hatched diamond motif. The hook remains in place, but is slightly bent. The tag has a light green patina. A copper alloy finger ring, probably of post medieval date, AD1500-1800. The hoop is of a D section , rising to a narrow, flat ridge in the centre of the outside edge. There is also a slight ridge on the inside of the hoop. The bezel is a pointed oval shape, with scalloped edges. It is decorated with ten small rings around the edge and a further small ring, somewhat off-centre, in the middle. The hoop of the ring is 22mm in diameter: the bezel is 20.8mm long and 15.8mm wide. The weight is 4.86gm. A ring of very similar design can be found on the database at reference SUR-815880.

A copper alloy, post medieval Nuremberg jetton of the 'Ship Penny' type, dating from AD1490-1550. This is an example of the anonymous issue with fictitious legend. It is a little unusual in that the ship on the obverse is sailing to the right, unlike the majority of these jettons which have the ship sailing left. The jetton has been pierced with a circular hole at 7 o'clock on the obverse. It is 27.9mm in diameter and 0.7mm thick. It weighs 2.66gm. A medieval cast copper alloy square harness pendant. The suspension loop is intact, projecting from the top edge at right angles to the plane of the plate, and the artefact is apparently in fair condition. The bare metal of the suspension loop has a light green patina which also shows on the reverse side. The face of the pendant is decorated with a sexfoil with red enamel surviving in four of the petals. The background and the loop are gilded. The pedant is 22.81mm in length 13.14mm in width 3.77mm in thickness and weighs 1.35g Compare PAS numbers IOW-A92B71 and YORYM-D12216.
