An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester brooch of Roman date. The object is a one piece brooch with a 6 coil integral spring issuing from the back of the head with an external chord held under a forward facing hook. The pin no longer remains. The wings are short and undecorated with a centrally projecting, rectangular sectioned bow. The bow is bent but appears to have been fairly straight. An incomplete cast copper-alloy harness pendant of medieval date. It is missing approximately one third of the plate due to old breaks. The plate is flat, elaborate quatrefoil in form with triangular projections in each angle of the foil.
