A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of Roman dating. The sherd is 7.39 mm thick and weighs 12.2 grams. It is 30.25 mm long and 40.14mm wide. The sherd consists of a bodysherd with an oxidised fabric, with occasional coarse grit inclusions. This fabric type is similar to that known as Severn Valley ware, but a slightly coarser variant. The foot is semi-circular in cross-section with two wide incised grooves on the outer face of the foot, suggesting a paw or claws, and a further semi-circular raised collar at the top of the foot near its break, which seems to have further decoration, now unclear. A bunghole fragment from a medieval coarse Surrey/Hampshire borderware cistern. The bunghole is ring-shaped; it contains part of the wall of the cistern and an additional attached fluted disc of the same fabric, which has then had a circular removal taken from the centre. The fabric is light grey with small to large flint and grit inclusions. It measures 52.1mm (length) x 46.9mm (width) x 22.2mm (thickness) x 17.7.mm (diameter of hole) and weighs 46.37g. A leg from a Post-medieval cast copper alloy cooking vessel. It is D-shaped in section with a flat back and curving front. The front is formed of three convex ribs which run down the length of leg, reminiscent of an animal's paw, which terminates in a flared, hoof-like foot, separated from the leg by a raised collar. The top of the leg is broken off just above the collar with an old break. Crudely made cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from c.1200-1700 for serving and cooking. A rim fragment of a medieval ceramic south Hertfordshire-type greyware vessel. The fragment contain the widened rim and the separately applied thumbprint border. The breaks have created a rectangular fragment; each break is worn and old. The fabric is completely grey but there is some later corrosive red staining. The fragment measures 76.6mm (length) x 34.4.mm (width) x 21.0mm (thickness) and weighs 49.41g. South Hertfordshire-type greyware dates to c. 1170-1350 AD.

Collection of Roman pot sherds. The items consist of 14 body sherds (including 2 which join) and 3 rim sherds. The fabrics consist of a mixture of greywares, ranging from dark to light grey including some shell-tempered wares. There is also one fragment of a creamy-white fabric.
