An incomplete copper alloy jetton of post-medieval date. The jetton was struck in Nuremburg by Hanns Krauwinkel II, master from 1586 to his death in March 1635 and is of the rose and orb type.
Obverse: HANNS KR[AVWINCK]EL IN NVR around alternating crowns and lis with central rose.
Reverse Inscription: GOTES SE[GEN MACHT REI]CH around Imperial Orb within tressure of three arches.
A similar jetton can be seen in Mitchiner, p.443, no.1553.

A copper-alloy Nuremberg 'French style' jetton depicting Loius XIV. Such jettons were struck by numerous 17th to early 18th century guild masters (see Mitchiner 1988: 500). This jetton probably dates from the king's reign, 1638-1715.

A complete struck / hammered copper alloy Jetton or reckoning counter, of Medieval dating (fourth quarter of 15th Century).
The jetton is similar to one of issued in France, during the Medieval period. A similar example has been recorded as part of the Salisbury Museum Medieval collections as #177 (Mernick & Algar, 2001, 238) and identified as one of the Angular Shield issues, 'Tournai' type, struck in the fourth quarter of the 15th Century. A complete cast copper alloy jetton of medieval date. The jetton appears to be a mule of two separate types having the obverse of Mitchiner no.244 featuring a central barbed rose and surrounding fictitious legend reading BO + BA + BOS + BI + BOS + BA, and the reverse of no.268 with a triple banded cross fleury with ornaments between the arms.

A copper alloy Tournai jetton. The reverse is a simple cross patty witha flower in each angle. The legend is blundered and reads 'SIT IIOIIIEII BOII II II I'. The obverse has the same legend, and the central motif is probably, although very worn, a Letter V within an unequal 7-arched tressure.

Reverse: [HA]NS:SCHVLTES:ZV:NVRNB[], An Imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a double stranded trefoil, pairs of pellets in each external angle of the foil, all within an inner circle.
