A copper alloy finger ring, probably of Roman date. The ring has a narrow plain hoop flaring out to plain shoulders supporting a circular bezel. The bezel is decorated by a central four-pointed incised star design surrounded by fine incised lines following the edges of the design, and a further line around the circumference. The angles of the star each contain double parralel fine lines curved in an anti-clockwise direction. The central cavity of the star is empty with some corrosion products. An elaborate cast copper-alloy Roman strap-fitting, the female part of a 'bar-and-keyhole' strap fastener, probably from a harness (1st century AD).
The object is in two, connected parts. The main element is a thick plate which was attached to a strap by way of two integral rivets located towards each end of the lower surface. The plate now measures 35.1mm. It is recessed at one end on its upper surface to accommodate a separate keyhole shaped fitting which slotted into the thickened plate and has a rod travelling through it such that it can hinge. An incomplete copper alloy gem set finger ring of Roman date. The hoop no longer survives but the remaining portions expand and swell to a bezel. The bezel is chunky and set with an oval, red gem. The gem is worn, chipped around the edges and a fragment is missing. The cavity in which it rests is hollow under the gem. The metal is decorated with moulding. A copper alloy Roman headstud brooch, almost complete. The pin is missing and the chain loop is incomplete. The wings are short with three steps of moulding from the ends to the bow. There is circular casing for the axis bar behind the wings. The headstud has a raised rim and central dot, and the bow is rectangular in section above the headstud. Group of three Roman copper alloy nummi of unknown fourth-century rulers. All three are worn and corroded; no details are distinguishable on any of them, but their size leads to the conclusion that they are nummi.

A copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative brooch. It is incomplete due to old breaks and consists of a short semi-circular wing case, with bands of transverse moulding on both ends. There is a rear facing hook, but the axis bar, spring and pin are missing. The bow has a flat back, with bands of ridge and grooved longitudinal moulding down the front. The lower part of the bow, along with the catch-plate, are missing. The brooch measures 18.16mm in width across the wings, 19.85mm in length, and weighs 3.21g. Roman copper alloy nummus of the House of Constantine, reverse type wolf and twins (VRBS ROMA), minted in Trier 330-335.
The coin is in fair condition, but has spots of corrosion and is chipped or broken at the edges. The stars in the obverse field are odd - the rightmost one is barely visible and seems to be in a different style, and the one in the middle is strangely shaped, having only 3 arms where the leftmost one has 8.
