The item is made of two components. The first component is a elongated 'A' shape in plan. The upper corner has a swivel connection. The swivel connection is formed by a central, circular cross sectioned stem with an expanded terminal. The stem sits on a circular shaped platform which is still the upper corner of the object. The object is a sub-rectangular shape in plan with a tubular shaped long edge which protrudes at the base slightly. The tube has been formed by the edge curling over. Both faces of the pendant have been decorated with a series of high-relief lozenge shapes which was surrounded by blue enamel. The item has a brown coloured surface.

The bow head is a vertical sub-pointed oval shape in plan. On the reverse of the bow head is a vertical lug which is incomplete, the lug is broken with a semi-circular indention on the edge, which originally was a hole. Trapped in this semi-circular indentation is a short fragment of iron wire. The upper portion of the bow tapers before expanding at the mid-point with a horizontal ridge which is sub-circular in cross-section. The lower portion of the bow tapers becoming oval shaped in cross section. The foot of the bow is missing, the break is not recent. The catchplate is also missing.

The object is a terminal shaped as a snakes head with its mouth open and the tongue stuck out. The lower and upper jaws of the snakes' head is sub-rectangular shape with rounded corners forming a wide 'V' shape in profile. Between the jaws a sub-rectangular tongue protrudes and extends to the length of the jaws. The head tapers to a slender, sub-oval shape cross sectioned neck. The ampulla has a rounded base which narrows at the neck. One side of the neck has a small sub semi-circular lug with no perforation. The opposite edge of the neck has been torn obliquely across to the upper corner of the ampulla. One face of the ampulla had two deep, parallel grooves, which are not recent as the patina covers the whole item. The patina is a beige/cream colour. No decoration is visible at all.

The blade is an elongated leaf-shape in plan, with one terminal missing and the other is slightly waisted before exapnding slightly. This terminal edge has a sub-semi-circular indentation which maybe purposful. The upper facing edge of this indentation is bevelled. The item is sub-circular in plan with semi-pleated edges. The pleats alternate in two sizes. The larger pleats has the edge curled under forming a concave edge. In profile the item is slightly domed. The cosmetic mortar has a shallow bow shape with bulbous terminals. From the centre of the apex of the bow there is a sub-circular loop which terminates a short oval cross-sectioned shank. The interior of the mortar has a 'V' shape. This interior surface has a well developed dark green patina. However the exterior surfaces are heavily corroded and has lost the original surface.

The wings are semi-cylindrical with wing caps. The caps support an axis bar around which the spring is coiled. The pin is missing. The bow head is hum-like with a small hook at the bow head/wings boundary. The bow head is decorated with two 'C' shaped grooves which are back-to-back. The bow is semi-circular in cross-section with a ridge on the reverse which would lead to the catchplate. The bow is broken at approximately the mid point. This is perhaps quite a recent break. The bow has a light-mid green coloured patina.

The pin head remains of the pin. In cross-section the pin head is circular. The head has a bulbous terminal whose base is narrowed and is very short in depth. The narrowed portion is then sat on a wider circular disc before the pin head, once again narrows and is 4mm in depth. The shank is then stepped becoming more narrow than the pin head. The short portion of the shank tapers slightly before it is broken. This is not a recent break.

The harness mount has a sub-rectangular shaped loop, the sides of the frame are thicker then the base, however all are rectangular in cross section. The upper edge of the frame forms a wide platform which is at right angles to the frame. This platform is formed by two sub-circular shapes which are defined by a central ridge where the join. The edges of the platform are heavily abraded and therefore what exists no may not be the original shape. The platform is flat and undecorated except for the central groove. The mount has a poor grey/green patina.
