Medieval copper alloy vessel fragment, 83mm long, 25mm wide and 6mm thick and weighing 90.58grams. The object consists of a rim fragment from a cooking pot. It has a slightly bevelled edges and has a sub circular protrusion just below its rim on the outer edge, presumable to hold a handle.

Stone axehead. Pointed oval section, rounded butt expanding with slightly convex sides to a curved cutting edge from which a large recent chip is missing. Polished over most of the surface, large chip / damage on one face at butt end. Length 192mm. Maximum width 79.5mm. Maximum thickness 46mm.

A late Medieval ceramic vessel handle. The object is sub rectangular in form with a recessed surface which contains two small circular holes. Part of the vessel body attached to its upper surface but has broken mid way down its length. The fabric has a buff interior with a pale grey gritty surface, probably midland purple.

A cast copper-alloy mount of Medieval or Post-medieval date. It is lozenge shaped and domed with a hollow back. At one end it extends into an oval shape pierced by two circular holes and above this a sub-triangular knop. The other end is broken at the end of the lozenge but may well have ended in a similar way. There is an integral oval rivet on the back of the knop. It is undecorated. It measures 37.83mm in length, 16.63mm in width, 3.56mm in thickness and weighs 4.94g.

A Roman copper alloy hinged bow brooch. 27mm long, 26mm wide, 12mm thick and weighing 8.08 grams. The brooch consists of solid circular sectioned wings which are decorated with a series of vertical incised and raised lines. The wings hold a hinged pin which is incomplete. The bow is semi-circular in section and is also decorated with a series of lines this time aligned horizontally.The reverse contains traces of a long triangular shaped catch-plate.

A Roman copper alloy Polden hill brooch of flat wing ends type. The brooch has plain semi-circular wings which would have held a spring and a plain sub circular bow protruding from the characteristic semi-circular sectioned raised platform in the centre of the wings. A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is a double oval frame which is d-shaped in section. It has three knops at the top and bottom of the central bar and a rest on the outside edge for the missing pin. The bar is covered with residue from the iron pin and it is therefore not possible to see whether it was narrowed or constricted for the pin. It measures 24.12mm in length, 15.16mm in width, 1.47mm in thickness and weighs 1.96g.
It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 380).
