A copper alloy Late medieval or Post-medieval thimble. It is of 'beehive' shape, with a conical dome and slightly flared sides. The pits appear to have been made in concentric rows. There are 2 notches in the edge of the rim; these seem to be a feature of the method of manufacture. The thimble has a varied mid green patina. The walls are 1.02mm thick.

The object is tri-lobed in plan with three round ended leaves which have a moulded dent in each centre/top, the leaf on the right curves outwards flanking a longer central leaf.
