A cast copper alloy strap slide or loop dating to the Post-medieval period. The strap slide is rectangular in both plan and section with a U-shaped cross section. The upper face of the strap slide is decorated with punched crescent and lozenge-shaped motifs intended to be floral in appearance. The reverse of the strap slide bears the remnants of iron pins or studs that would have secured the slide; the slide was used to contain the end of a strap, much like a modern belt loop. A cast lead frame with fragments of glass around the edge of probable Post-medieval date. It is square in shape and rectangular in section and is possibly a mirror. It has been formed from a flat piece of lead which has been folded on each side to produce a frame to hold a square of glass. There does not appear to be any decoration on the back of the frame but there are two straight lines which could be decorative or due to post-depositional damage. It measures 67.34mm in length, 61.40mm in width, 11.45mm in thickness and weighs 235.03g.

A cast copper-alloy book fitting of Post-medieval date. It is broadly rectangular in shape and flat in section. At the attachment edge it is split into two parts with a triangular notch between. The clasp edge is broken but the rectangular shape narrows and curves into the clasp. It is decorated with two lines forming a triangle pointing towards the attachment edge with two notches, top and bottom, at the clasp edge. It measures 27.89mm in length, 32.88mm in width, 2.03mm in thickness and weighs 6.83g.

A cast copper-alloy palstave axe of the Middle Bronze Age, 1500 BC-1150 BC. The axe is worn, but it is complete. The crescent-shaped blade tapers at its shoulders to the butt of the axehead. A very low relieve stop is visible on each face of the septum, with triangular flanges over and under the septum. The butt has suffered some minor damage to its rounded end. There is no evidence for a loop on the upper face of of the axehead. The surface is relatively consistent in pitting/quality and colour.

A cast copper-alloy cosmetic mortar of Roman date. The bow has a flat top with an oval groove. The ends appear to be complete and have no decoration. The centre loop is broken but would have been oval in shape and circular in section. This appears to have been separately cast as there are two rivets present in the groove. Cosmetic mortars are unique to Roman Britain, only one has been found outside Britain, in Northern France. It measures 43.89mm in length, 9.17mm in width, 5.16mm in depth and weighs 4.99g.

A small sized fragment of a Roman roof tile, or tegula, c. 43-410 AD. The tegula fragment is sub-triangular in plan, with a portion of the flat bottom and edge rising at a right angle to the base; the upper surface has been smoothed, whereas the underside is rough. No decoration is visible. The tegula seems to have large dark inclusion, as well as grog temper to strengthen the fabric; the fabric is reddish-orange in colour. It measures 67.63 mm long, 94.61 mm wide; 41.66 mm maximum height; 22.31 mm maximum thickness; it weighs 201 grams.

An extremely worn copper-alloy coin, probably an Iron Age uninscribed bronze unit, c. 60-20 BC. Both surfaces of the coin are severely abraded and there are circumferential losses making a positive identification difficult. It is likely that this coin is either of the 'Chichester Cock' or 'Chichester Horse' type; cf. ABC, p. 56, nos. 737 and 740. It is possible to discern circular elements of the helmeted head on the obverse and an elongated body with lines radiating outward, similar to both cock and horse on these reverse types.

A complete but damaged and misshapen probable cast copper-alloy closed thimble of Medieval to Post Medieval date (c.1400-1600 AD).The thimble has a domed crown from which the body tapers gently, terminating in two raised parallel ridges at the rim. The indentations of the thimble begin at the crown and follow a spiral pattern in an anti-clockwise direction around the circumference of the body. This artefact has been compressed from two sides, so that the opening at the rim is now elliptical, as a likely result of post-depositional damage. It has an overall mid-green colour.

A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is a d-shaped frame which is rectangular in section. The outside edge has a rest for the missing pin. The bar is narrowed. It measures 22.20mm in length, 28.05mm in width, 2.12mm in thickness and weighs 2.71g. It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 391).

A cast copper-alloy buckle from of Medieval date. It is a oval, lipped frame which is flat in section. The outside edge is decorated with a series of horizontal lines, the middle of which would have formed a rest for the missing pin. Patr of the bar, which is offset and narrowed, is missing due to old breaks. It measures 15.62mm in length, 19.12mm in width, 1.80mm in thickness and weighs 1.63g. It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 282).
