An incomplete copper-alloy unidentified object. This object consists of a elongated lozenge shaped shaft with both terminals missing due to old breaks. It measures 28.6mm in surviving length and 13mm in width. The front face has facted longitudinal egdes and is decorated with small circular indentations. These form a border and there is one central one. This object could be the shaft of nail cleaner but with neither terminal surviving it is impossible to make any conclusive identification. A cast copper-alloy foot fragment, incomplete due to old breaks, now worn. This handle is most likely derived from a large skillet. A fragment of the body of the vessel also survives. The handle is 84mm in surviving length and 38mm in width at the body end and it tapers gently towards its missing terminal, measuring 18.7mm in width at this incomplete terminal. A Modern silver gilt finger ring with green stone setting (1800-1900). The thin hoop has a D-shaped cross-section and is moulded decoratively on either side of the bezel. The filigree decoration forms a small ring, than a triangle with rounded corners; a ring and dot, and finally a mirrored curling 'S' shape in a scroll motif. Roman copper-alloy T-shaped brooch. It is incomplete as the foot and pin are missing. The brooch is decorated with a raised ridge running down the centre of the bow, this is decorated with a band of short horizontal lines. The shoulders are decorated with similar bands with horizontal decoration. The brooch is 33mm long, 5mm wide and 6mm thick.

late Roman or early Anglo Saxon copper alloy penannular brooch, 80mm wide and 4mm thick. The terminals each consist of two small circles joining on to one larger circle. The arm of the brooch has a design of closely incised bands running down both top ends, and two double lines are seen in the middle section. These designs are only visible on one side of the brooch. The head of the pin has a central raised ridge and raised edges. The arm of the brooch forms a semi-circle.

Two sherds of Roman greyware pottery. The handle sherd is in a sandy light grey fabric and comes from either the top or bottom of handle where it joins the base. The central knop is a rounded cube with a large, slightly off-centre, circular hole running from top to bottom (this would have housed the missing suspension loop). A 2nd century cast copper alloy plate brooch - native British type. This type of brooch is not a common type; according to Hattatt (via Hull) only six have been recorded from Somerset, Oxon, Leicester, Lincoln, Cambridgeshire and Nr. Hereford. The brooch is a slightly bowed 'pelta-shaped' plate with 'Celticised' motifs. The brooch is almost hexagonal in shape, but a decorative cut away has removed two of the hexagonal angles. Flint knife. A late Neolithic toEarly Bronze Age plano-convex type. A large flint flake with a triangular section and regular pressure flaking around the entirety of the edge on the dorsal surface. The pressure flaking radiates from a thick, slightly off-centre spine. The ventral surface is otherwise unworked and retains the bulb of percussion. The striking platform has been removed by the pressure flaking. Patchy matt grey-brown and dark brown flint with a mid-gloss patina. A patch of white nodule cortex remains on the dorsal surface. Small amount of plough damage on ventral surface.

A plano-convex flint knife. In two pieces (glued together by the finder). Mid grey flint with white mottles. Mid gloss patina. Made from an elongate, tapering flake. At the proximal end is a wide striking platform and a bulb of percussion on the ventral face. There are clear, shallow waves of percussion along the length of the flake. The dorsal surface has been pressure flaked all over from both sides, producing regular, lateral flakes and a central raised spine. The distal end is shaped to a rounded point. Late Neolithic.
