Incomplete silver two part post medieval thimble, bent and broken into two pieces. The top of the timble is missing and the base appears to have been cut or torn as there is no plain band or rim. The indentations are circular with raised edges, a style that became popular towards the end of the 17th century. The remaining pieces are: c.38.5mm long by 16.3mm wide by 0.4mm thick and 13.2mm long by 16.5mm wide by 0.4mm thick and weigh 2.4 and 0.8 grams respectively.

Cast unifaced lead token. The token is decorated with four lines running across the diameter which meet in the centre, forming an eight pointed star or wheel with eight spokes. The token is 18.83mm in diameter, 1.72mm thick and weighs 3.33 grams. Tokens with such simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period so a general date of 1250-1800 AD is given.

A large lump of copper, it's rounded appearence suggests it has cooled from molton metal in a crucible or other mould. One side is almost flat, the top is domed and the sides rounded, it may originally have been oval as it appears to have been cut on one face, the cut is now worn. It may have been made on site or have been carried here for metal working. It is difficult to give this item an exact date although study of the composition might help, a date of Bronze Age - post-medieval has thus been given although it is likely to sit within the earlier part of this range. Knapped flint implement. In shape and forming technique it appears similar Mesolithic - Early Neolithic picks although it is much smaller. One side is complete, undecorated and around 90mm long; it is 9.5mm wide and 4.1mm thick where it meets the neck and 4.1mm wide and 2.4mm thick by the terminal. Rim fragment from a copper alloy vessel, the fine finish on the inside suggests that it may have been used for serving as well as food preperation. The outside of the vessel is rough. The fragment is 94.83mm long, 35.75mm wide, 2.46mm thick in the body and weighs 45.65 grams. The rim is 11.56mm wide and 4.65mm thick. The curve of the rim suggests the original vessel had a diameter of 12cm, the rim was flared and fairly flat, siting at an angle about 30 degrees from the horizontal.

An fragment of an unidentified lead object, possibly from an architectural item such as a rain head. Fragment is 89.5mm long, 55.1mm wide, 12.1mm thick and weighs 150 grams. All sides are broken and the breaks are patinated. The back is flat and the front curves outwards slightly so the item is thickest in the middle and thinner at the sides. The front is decorated with a bevelled line running horizontally across the piece with two oval indents below, both indents only survive in part.

Thinly cast copper-alloy item, probably a book clasp of roughly triangular shape, one of the 'arms' and part of the hook is missing. See LANCUM-CC96D3 for a more complete example. The remainer of the hook is 15.4mm long, 3.4mm wide and 2.8mm thick. It has broken off before it starts to bend. Fragment of roman flue tile with combed decoration. The tile has old breaks on three edges. It is made of a sandy fabric with some shell inclusions. One side is decorated with rough combing in two angles. The fragment is 98.6mm long, 96.3mm wide, 21.8mm thick and weighs 2.53 grams. Cast lead pencil of probable Medieval date (1100-1500 AD). The stylus is D shaped in cross section with one tapered / pointed end and one gently rounded end. It is possible that the rounded end once flared and became wedge shaped but it does not appear obvously broken. The pointed end shows some signs of wear and the patination is less thick at this point. The stylus is a mid yellow brown colour with a heavy patina which covers all other surfaces.
