Two body sherds and one rim sherd of very shelly black burnished ware. The rim sherd is very straight in profile, 'dog bowl' style. The rim is the smallest sherd and measures 25.8x26.2x7.7mm. The largest sherd measures 35.1x32.7x10.5mm. All three collectively weigh 29.96. The sherds are probably Late Roman in date.

Two rim sherds of coarse greyware, one from a very large storage jar, the other from a much smaller storage jar. The largest piece measures 94.2x58.3x28.8mm and would have originally had a diameter of c.500mm. It has large inclusions. The smaller sherd measures 49.3x23.6x11.2mm and would have originally had a diamater c.240mm. The two collectively weigh 178.64g.

Two body sherds and one base sherd of Romano British sandy greyware with decoration. The base sherd is possibly part of a shallow bowl and the decoration consists of groups of parallel diagonal shallow grooves. The body sherds have horizontal lines, presumably decoration and not part of the manufacturing process. The largest sherd measures 32.2x19.9x4.8mm and the smallest 29.3x26.9x5.5mm. The sherds collectively weigh 13.77g.

Body sherd of a brown/beige glazed light red earthenware vessel. It has a pie-crust rim and was only glazed on the outside. Part of the rim has not been glazed and the different between the unglazed light beige/red clay and the glazed dark brown/yellow colour can be seen very clearly. It probably dates from the late Post Medieval period, i.e. 1600-1800.

Medieval rim and handle fragment of either Nash Hill or Ham Green ware with a green glaze on the right hand side of the fragment. The dark green colour of the glaze suggests the date is 13th century. The fragment weighs 90.0g and is 65mm in length, measuring 61mm at its widest part with the thickness around the rim being 10mm and the body thickness being 5mm. The handle measures 21mm in thickness extending 53mm away from the body. Fragment of earthenware medieval glazed floor tile, measuring 97.3x73.2x26.6mm and weighing 284.69g. It would have originally measured c.135mm square. The design on the tile is essentially a griffin facing left within a circle. On the underside there is a single central knife scooped key. The tile is very worn, all the original lead glaze being lost from the decorated surface. Olive glaze does survive on one edge where there is an adhesion mark from a spacer used in the kiln.
