A complete cast lead spindle whorl of late medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. One side of the spindle whorl is decorated with a series of triangular cells formed from raised lines radiating from the central perforation. The other side is extremely worn rendering any decoration indistinguishable. The metal is a light brownish-white colour and is worn. A complete cast lead spindle whorl or weight of medieval to post-medieval date. The whorl is cylindrical in shape with an uneven serrated, or undulating, outer edge and central circular perforation. The base is flat and the top has nine raised pellets where the undulating side rise up. The metal is a mid whitish-grey colour and is worn. The object is 26.5mm in diameter, 10.6mm thick and weighs 42.5g. A worn catchplate also remains extending from the reverse of the bow. The metal has a mid blackish-green patina and is slightly worn. The brooch is 22.9mm long, 4.6mm wide, 10.1mm thick (with catchplate) and weighs 2.2g. An insufficient portion remains of the brooch in order to designate it a specific type.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date. The pin mechanism, pin, foot and catchplate no longer remain. The reverse of the head is concave with a wide loop through which the pin mechanism would have been held. From the top of the loop the worn remains of an attachment loop projects. The head itself is trumpet shaped and the upper bow with circular section project centrally from it. An incomplete cast copper alloy knee brooch of Roman date. The brooch has a flat semi-circular headplate with a sharply angled and bulbous bow. The bow is convex in cross-section, concave on the reverse and is undecorated. Two lugs on the reverse of the headplate hold a copper alloy axis bar, comprised of five turns of the spring, one end of which forms form the beginning of the pin. The pin proper no longer remains. An incomplete cast copper alloy Sawfish brooch of Roman date. Only the lower half of the brooch remains and is extremely worn. The bow is rectangular in cross-section and decorated with a raised central rib flanked by serrated edges. A double latitudinal collar marks the end of the decoration below which an undecorated flat bow which tapers due to an extremely worn break. The buckle is part of a single looped oval buckle with an ornate outer edge comprised of a series of transverse grooves flanked by two lobed knops. The loop proper has been lost to old worn breaks. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 41.8mm long, 5.3mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 7.2g. Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead, p.22 and are dated to circa 1250 - 1400.

The outer curved edge bears a copper alloy sheet roller around a constriction flanked by two lobed knops. The pin remains in tact looped around the strap bar. The metal has a light brownish-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 20.7mm long, 21.2mm wide, 6.3mm thick and weighs 4.9g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.22, no.96 and is dated to circa 1250 - 1400.
