An extremely worn Post Medieval rose farthing, probably of Charles I (1625-1649 AD). Although a full identification is difficult due to the extreme degree of surface wear, it is likely that this farthing is associated with Rose Farthing Type 1c. The obverse seems to depict double-arched crown with sceptres that reach nearly to the edge of the coin; the legend is missing due to wear. The reverse depicts a rose with a double-arched crown; the legend is illegible. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, No. 2289.
