A complete cast lead weight of uncertain date. The weight is conical with a wide circular base which tapers to a narrow apex. A central recess is present at the base of the weight though it does not appear to continue through it. There are no marks or decoration present and there are no signs of an attachment loop.
The metal is a light greyish-white colour and is worn. The weight is 47.6mm tall, 19.8mm in diameter at the base and weighs 78g.

Two fragments of an incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends type), cf. Mackreth 2011, 4.k. Plate 48. The head, wings and the upper section of the bow on the larger fragment and the foot, catchplate and the lower section of the bow. The pin is missing. An incomplete cast lead probable lock pin of Roman date, c.AD 43- 410. The head is circular in plan and D-shaped in section with a central boss surrounded by a concentric groove. The edges are irregular and very worn.
The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour and is extremely corroded. The object is 29.8mm long, 23.3mm wide, 19.2mm thick and weighs 36.3g.

A post medieval copper alloy book fitting . Fitting consists of a rectanguar plate, with a clasp end and a flared rivet attachment end. The clasp is integral but narrowed and curved. The flared end widens to form a stretched trapezoid with three triangular removes from the outer edge and a central recessed notch. On either side of the notch is a rivet made from the same alloy. Two complete cast copper alloy coin weights of post-medieval date. Both weights are extremely worn but appear to be unifaced. They are square in plan and rectangular in section, stamped on one side with the figure of St Michael spearing a dragon. These weights would have been used to weigh the Angel or Half angel. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn.
Weight 1 is 14.3mm x 13.6mm x 1.6mm and weighs 1.6g.
Weight 2 is 12.6mm x 12.6mm x 1.4mm and weighs 0.9g.
Similar coin weights are illustrated in Withers, p.21.

A complete copper-alloy key dating to the late medieval period. The key has a lozenge-shaped bow with a small knop in the centre of each side. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy hook and eye bracelet. The bracelet is flat, curved and decorated with three rows of punched dashes. Both ends are broken, one of appears to be broken through a circular eye.
The bracelet is probably late Roman in date and is similar to examples from Colchester (Crummy, 1983, The Roman small finds from excavations in Colchester 1971-9, pp. 43-44, nos' 1708, 1709.

An incomplete Roman cast copper alloy and enamelled seal box and lid of Crummy Type 2 (Crummy 1987, 103) dating from 100-300 AD. Round and rectangular in cross section. At one end are two pierced arms that form a hinge. Attached between the arms is the lug of the lid. There is iron corrosion where the pin would of been located. The lid expands towards the centre before tapering to a circular knop at the base (3.3 mm wide).
