The weight is bell-shaped with a flared, flat base, and a crude slightly hooked shank projecting from a flat top. There is no decoration, but the crude shank may have been fixed to another fitting for suspension.

Cast copper alloy rotary key dating to the Medieval period. The key handle (bow) is in the shape of a flat lozenge with a circular perforation through each corner. The two outer corners of the lozenge have small knops, one of which has broken away. The upper corner of the lozenge is surmounted with a hollow, squat cylindrical terminal with two piercings in the base (one to either side of the faces of the lozenge). A complete Post-Medieval musket ball made of lead alloy dating from about 1600-1800. There is no visible casting seam but the ball has damage in the form of two slightly flattened sides, which may be the result of impact. The object has a creamy brown-grey patina.

Copper alloy mount, as identified by finder. Cast sub-triangular plate with scalloped edges, possibly from a position mounted at the corner of a rectangular object - possibly a book cover. A pair of pelta-shaped cut-outs, whose edges are lightly bevelled on the back of the object, flank an attachment hole of diameter 2mm. Copper alloy spoon. Cast spoon with fig shaped bowl and a lightly tapered stem of faceted rectangular section; the end of handle is lost, though the edge of what may be an indistinct maker's mark appears at its broken end. The bowl is curled up at two edges; it is uncertain whether this is fortuitous damage, or whether it indicates the spoon may have been adapted as a funnel to pour fluid or powder into a narrow-necked vessel. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1800.

Cast copper alloy 'lyre-shaped' strap end with an integral box chape and openwork terminal. The terminal comprises elaborate openwork of inverted M-shape with a lozenge-shaped terminal and side scrolls with four circular depressions on the outside edge of the frame. In the centreme is a bird (possibly an eagle). The box chape is rectangular in cross-section and has two rivet holes for attachment. The box chape has broken on the rear around the rivet holes. Copper alloy shell fragment. Two cast fragments of estimated diameter 90mm, from a conical casing. The fragments bear at least 12 bands of fine screw thread within. On the outer face a numbered sequence between 8 and 17 on one fragment and 1 and 8 on the other accompanies a subdivided scale of units of circa 1.5mm. The finder notes that the gradations were intended to set the fuse of heavy anti-aircraft shells to the altitude at which they should explode. Suggested date: Modern, 1916-1945.

Copper alloy seal matrix. Cast oval matrix with a tapered oval section handle retaining the stub of a probably trilobate suspension loop. The waisted handle is less familiar to this reporter than those of angular profile, and may suggest a later date. The device represented may be a letter M with straight uprights, possibly within a garland or wreath, or possibly crowned.
