Barry Ager of the British Museum writes: The find consists of a ring of twisted silver wires. The inner and outer surfaces have been intentionally flattened. It is undiagnostic and undatable, although probably of no great age, so does not qualify as Treasure under the stipulated criteria of the Treasure Act.

A copper alloy object of uncertain use. The object appears to be a fragment that has broken away from a lager object. It is sub rectangular in plan, narrowing in the centre, and elliptical in cross section. A rounded knop protrudes from the top edge. The front surface is undecorated. There is a triangular protrusion from the reverse which terminates in a broken edge, it is thought that this would have a attached the fragment to a lager object. The fragment is 55.2mm long, 10.6mm wide, 3.5mm thick.

An unidentified lead object of uncertain date. The object is circular in plan with a central circular perforation. One face has inscribed circumferential lettering though this is now to worn for any specific detail to be determined. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid greyish-brown colour and is extremely worn and corroded. The object is 36.6mm in diameter, 7.3mm thick and weighs 32.5g.

There are no marks or decoration present on any surface though one side is smooth while the other is rough. The metal is a mid whitish-brown colour and is worn. The weight is 35.2mm in diameter, 5.9mm thick and weighs 55.3g. Due to a lack of contextual evidence and any diagnostic features it is not possible to date this object any more closely and may date from the Roman to post-medieval periods.

The weight is 22.9mm tall, 23.2mm in diameter at the base, 7.9mm in diameter at the apex and weighs 54.1g. Flat, slightly oval lead weight with lumps of another material, stone or copper alloy set into each side. The weight is 26.7mm by 24.3mm and 10.2mm thick; 8.4mm excluding the inset material. It weighs 42.46 grams. Lead weights in copper alloy casings are known from the 11th - 12th century, e.g. HAMP-EEBC91 but the material on this example appears to be set it. The objects has 7 round holes with 3 at the top and middle and one complete hole towards the bottom where the object has broken in line with the remaining 2 holes. There are 4 circle lines that run around the object and the top has a protruding lip. The break is old but the object is still in good condition.
