A post-medieval copper-alloy farthing of Charles I (1625-1649). Rose Type 2 (North 2291; Peck no. 340). Initial mark: crescent, dating to 1636-1644. Mint of London. North (1975, 140)
It measures 11 mm in diameter. The coin contains a copper-alloy (brass) wedge which was added to negate counterfeiting. This is located at approximately 1 o'clock on the obverse, corresponding to around 11 o'clock on the reverse. The circumference is slightly irregular in form.

An incomplete medieval copper-alloy English jetton. Pentangle type, Berry type 12, Mernick reference 4m.4 (variant), dating to c. 1280-c. 1340. Mint uncertain.
The jetton has been worn, bent, corroded and chipped. Its dimensions are diameter 20mm, thickness 0.7mm, weight 0.91g
It bears a central punch mark on the obverse. The loss it has suffered to its circumference is significant and it is no longer complete.

A cast, copper-alloy mount of probable early Post-Medieval date. The mount is sub-rectangular in plan, widening on both sides towards one end to create two, opposing "wings". The wings are each incised with a curved, zig-zag decoration, possibly representing feathers. Above the wings, the mount narrows to a rectangular, terminal knop. The mount may have represented a bird or, possibly, an angel.

An incomplete early Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy wrist-clasp, of Hines's Form B7. The object is a rectangular sheet of copper alloy with one long and one short edge missing. At the complete corner is a circular perforation, and there are the remains of another at the opposite corner. The missing long edge is the front edge, with the hook or catch. The clasp-half is decorated with four surviving lines of small repoussé dots along the long axis, and at least two lines at either short end. on its surface. A microlith formed on a bladelet of grey brown flint. The left margin has been abruptly retouched and blunted along its length forming a point at the distal end. The right margin is unretouched and sharp with a small natural nick in the edge. It may have been hafted with the blunt edge set with resin into a groove in a wood or bone tool. Butler(2005) illustrates a small lanceolate piece on page 101, fig 39, 14.

A cast copper alloy Medieval composite strap end, probably dating to the 14th century. It is sub rectangular in plan, it has a trefoil end and appears to have a plate broken away just below the trefoil, there is a rivet remaining joining three plates at the trefoil, only the two plates remain below this point and they are broken off with no rivet holes remaining, it has a patchy green/brown patina and has been bent in the plough soil. It measures 27.92mm long x 11.69mm wide.

A Medieval, cast copper-alloy, single-loop buckle with integral plate. The frame is sub-oval in plan with a notched, pointed lip on the leading edge. The integral plate is sub-rectangular in plan and is broken across a circular rivet hole. The attachment end of the plate is missing. There is a single, drilled, circular hole for the pin at the point where the frame meets the plate.

A quite thick, decorated wall sherd from a large urn of approximately 0.3 metres diameter. The exterior is damaged from being exposed to rain and frost in the plough soil. It would have had a smooth finish with only a few fine grits showing in order for the herringbone pattern of plaited cords to be impressed. The sherd is crumbling with a developed network of fine surface cracks and the decoration only discernable in oblique light.The orangey red surface oxidised colour extends part way through the fabric which then remains dark grey brown to just below the orangey interior surface. …

A corroded cast copper alloy Post Medieval double looped buckle,c. 1550-1700 AD. The buckle frame measures 24.66mm long and 20.16mm wide. The loops are trapezoidal,widening towards the outer edges. The upper surfaces are bevelled externally and the reverse face is flat. The narrowed pin bar has a knop at each end with the pin intact. Cf. Whitehead 2003, p80; examples dating to c. 1570-1700 AD.
