Late Bronze Age gold pendant: one end of a slightly bent round-sectioned shank has been hammered into a D-sectioned loop, while the other expands into a conical terminal on which another object may have swivelled.
Formerly described as probably Roman, it has reassigned, by Caroline Barton and Ben Roberts of the British Museum, to the Late Bronze Age on the basis of its similarity to a copper alloy example in the Boughton Malherbe (Kent) hoard (PAS KENT-15A293). Length 34mm. Width of loop 5.5mm. Diameter of shank 2 - 1.5mm. Diameter of terminal 3mm. Weight 1.89g. 9th century BC.

Post-medieval silver thimble. The base is reinforced by a square-sectioned encircling bar with butt ends and attached with solder. The sides are of sheet with a butt seam running up to the separate sheet top, which is also attached with solder. The whole object is slightly distorted and there is one dent. Buckle, bent double-oval frame with knop on both outside edges, one, unusually, in the form of an animal (rather than bird) head, the other in the form of its tail with engraved transverse lines within bordering line (53 x 22mm, unbent), recessed narrowed central bar retains a wrought rectangular-sectioned pin in the pin-slot of a bent sub-rectangular sheet chape with broken attachment-end (unbent >33 x 14mm), folded widthways and secured through the shortened back part by a copper-alloy rivet. Strap fitting. A transverse 'D' sectioned bar with two integral rivets on the reverse. An arm extends from the centre of the lower edge with a corroded iron rivet through it before terminating in a rectangular transverse loop. Width of bar 20.5mm. Total length 24mm. The loop would hold a strap up to 9mm wide and 2mm thick. Similar to harness fittings (cf. 4084 Beeston with Bittering for a pair of such fittings with a rectangular loop at either end) although the strap would be very slender for use on a horse. Dates to the 13th - 14th century.

Blazon: Azure a bend cotised between two lions rampant [Or]. The arms are a variation on those for De BOHUN, Earls of Hereford and Essex. Dates to the late 13th-14th century.

Stirrup-strap mount. Williams' Class A, Type 11A. A sub-triangular plate with a trefoil apex, the central lobe of which is pierced. There is a right-angle flange on the reverse, with two rivet holes, one of which retains a large part of a ball-headed iron rivet, the other filled by the corroded remains of an iron rivet.
The front of the plate is decorated with a lion cast in low relief, standing facing left with one paw raised and it's head tilted upwards and tail curled over it's back, within a frame. The detail is worn. Height 48mm. Width 30mm. Dates to the 11th century.

An incomplete disc brooch, just under half of which survives. Cast in low relief, with a segmented border around a backward facing beast with two ring-and-dots decorating the head and body. Only the front legs, neck, part of head and front part of the body of the beast survive. On the reverse is an incomplete pin lug parallel with the edge of the brooch. The catch-plate and pin are missing. Diameter at least 27mm. Weight 2.89g

Pin, Cool (1990, 168) Group 18. The pin-head is in the form of a human head with an elaborate head-dress, probably representing a helmet, consisting of a transverse, sub-triangular sectioned bar at the end of a short projection from the top of a diadem-like hat. The features are clearly modelled, with chin length hair protruding from the headdress, eyes, nose and mouth, and two possible indentation further defining the chin.
