An incomplete medieval copper-alloy English jetton. Pentangle type, Berry type 12, Mernick reference 4m.4 (variant), dating to c. 1280-c. 1340. Mint uncertain.
The jetton has been worn, bent, corroded and chipped. Its dimensions are diameter 20mm, thickness 0.7mm, weight 0.91g
It bears a central punch mark on the obverse. The loss it has suffered to its circumference is significant and it is no longer complete.

This jetton's circumference is significantly abraded with significant loss.

A slightly corroded and bent post-medieval copper-alloy jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (fl. 1586-1635) of the 'Rose / orb' type, 'DAS WORT' type, struck at Nuremberg (cf. Mitchiner 1494).
This jetton has two neat perforations: one at around 7 o'clock on the 'obverse' just within the inner circle, the other around 10 o'clock on the 'obverse' just within the circumference. Whether these small holes had any function is uncertain.
