A silver penny of Henry III (AD 1216-1272), with sceptre. The coin appears to be of Class Va or Vb (AD 1250-1256), moneyer is Nicole, mint Canterbury. The coin has been doublestruck, with an impression of both dies on both faces, the reverse especially showing parts of the beard of the bust, and part of the inscription (hENRICVS) visible above ON C[ ].
