A cast copper-alloy hook piece book clasp of the late Medieval or post-Medieval period. The book clasp is rectangular in plan, with a semi-circular down-turning hook at one end, and flared at the other end where the clasp was attached to a strap. The iron rivet remains attached to the clasp in the performation. The rivet was made with a small flat strip of iron (3.78mm wide, 17.4mm long) that was folded at the ends to create a rectangular head above the book clasp and two feet below the strap much like a modern paper fastener. Fragment of cast copper alloy Roman key. What remains is the handle and short shank of the key, the bit is entirely missing. The handle is rectangular in plan and section. To the top is an integral semicircular loop, on the same plane, which has a central small rectangular knop to its top. Beneath the loop at the top of the main body of the handle are three moulded parallel transverse lines. Fragment of copper alloy openwork Roman handle fom a folding knife or razor depicting a greyhound running left biting the rump of a hare. Only the greyhound now survives. The fragment is 24.2mm in length and stands 14.9mm tall to the top of the tail and head, which is a parallelogram in shape and 'hangs' downwards. Beneath the body are two openwork areas. That below the head is damaged where the legs of the hare would have extended benetah the greyhound's mouth. A copper-alloy fragment from a late 17th to early 18th century shoe buckle. The fragment is a small portion of the buckle's frame. The frame is slightly convex in shape and has a drilled hole for a separate spindle. The face has linear ridged decoration. The buckle is quite worn and corroded. This buckle fragment probably dates from circa 1690 to 1720. Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead (1996, 102).

Complete copper alloy tweezers. The tweezers are formed from a single length of metal that is bent and curved into a semicircular loop at the mid point. The blades are rectangular in plan and flat in section and do not taper. The end of each blade is bent in at an angle of approximately 40 degrees to form the pinching mechanism. One blade is still straight, whilst the other is bent just above the pinching end, in the opposite direction, giving it a slight zigzag profile to the end of the blade. A sub-circular cast copper alloy curtain ring or loop, with a slender bi-trapezoid section. A small portion of the loop is narrowed slightly due to wear, particularly on the internal surface. In profile the loop is flat. The loop has an abraded surface, but has traces of a shiny dark grey patina. It measures 27.83mm long, 27.09mm wide and 3.24mm thick. It weighs 4.93g. A copper alloy Late Post-Medieval/ modern wall-mounted hook, previously identified as a Post-Medieval dagger quillon arm. The arm of the hook is 5mm diameter in section at its break, narrowing to 4mm diameter before the terminal extends. This is over a length of 26mm, during which is curves at just larger than a right angle (21mm from the break). The terminal is pointed and faceted, with eight lozenge-shaped faces and four triangular. The terminal is 14.6mm in length. Length 33.6mm, weighs 5.82g.

The seal matrix is sub-oval (oval with pointed ends) in plan and sub-rectangular in cross section. It measures 37.8mm in length, 24.5mm width and is 10.2mm (maximum) thick. On the upper edge of the seal, in alignment with the two pointed ends, is a small sub-rectangular (rectangular with rounded corners) perforated lug.
