One of the flakes is a utilised flint flake or possible crudely-made flint scraper probably Neolithic in date (circa 3500-2100 BC). On the dorsal surface of the flint many flakes have been removed. The striking platform and the bulb of percussion both still surface and are visible of the ventral surface. The flint is worn and the sharp edges are abraded (weight: 25.9g).
Five of the flakes are simply waste flint flakes, with flakes previously removed from their surfaces (total weight: 9.2g).
One of the flakes is a fragment of fire cracked flint (weight: 3.9g). The ring is misshapen. At the base of the hoop is an apparent abraded break although it is possible that the hoop was originally penannular. The hoop widens from the bottom towards the shoulder. At the bottom it has a minimum width of 1.8mm and the maximum width of the shoulder is 7.0mm. At the top the hoop widens slightly to form an indistinct bezel.
