Incomplete, Post Medieval flat openwork strap mount. Remains of iron rivets, one through a terminal lobe, on both sides of trefoil aperture. One long edge, broken across a series of apertures, shows that the rivets are not set centrally. The trefoil is close to that in a hooked mount from south-west Wiltshire (Read 2001 no. 356). Probably too flimsy to have formed part of a sword belt. >40 x >26mm. 17th century.
