Two sherds from a Roman Oxfordshire colour coated mortaria (AD260-410). Sherd one: Base sherd with foot ring. Sherd two: Rim sherd with a lions head spout. The lions head is depicted by two circular depressions for ears; two crescentic stamps for eyes and eight triangular stamps for whiskers. The rim is upright, forming a deep collar with the spout at the base. Both sherds have multicoloured quartz grits. The dark red slip is now mostly abraded from both sherds Dimensions: weight: 46.29g.

A Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill (hinged pin, flat wing ends type, Eastern Group), dating AD 80-120. The half-cylindrical spring case is present, with two iron fragments which are the remains of the axis bar. There is a perforation just below the head for the spring to pass through. The spring and pin are now missing. There is an incised rope design decoration which runs across the wings and vertically along the crest of the bow. A Roman copper alloy incomplete bracelet (circa 3rd-4th century AD). The bracelet tapers to a hooked terminal that probably secured the bracelet during wear. The bracelet is decorated with a band of four incised vertical grooves, then a central groove with diagonal notches along each edge forming a herring-bone type pattern, then four more grooves before terminating in the hook. The bracelet also has the pale blue green patina that is also seen on some of the brooches from this site. A Post Medieval silver gilt hooked tag. The tag is a composite trefoil with a bar for attachment along one edge and a hook emerging from the top. The hook is bent out of shape. The trefoil plate has a 'frilled' edge and is comprised of three domes. Each dome is decorated with four filigree rings and dots around a central raised pellet at the peak of each dome. A Medieval copper alloy seal matrix (13th-14th century). The seal matrix is in the form of a flat pointed oval with a perforated lug on the reverse. The central motif on the die is of a bird of prey on a fist. The inscription reads: IE SV SEL DE AMVR LEL [I am the seal of loyal love]. Dimensions: length 30.67mm; width 18.32mm; thickness 7.69mm; weight 8.59g. Many thanks to Malcolm Jones for identifiying the inscription.
