A complete but broken cast copper alloy finger ring of post-medieval to modern date. The finger ring has a flat circular bezel which appears undecorated and is flanked by sub-oval shoulders. From the shoulders the D-shaped sectioned hoop extends though is broken halfway around its circumference.
The metal has a light blackish-green patina and is worn. The finger ring is 27.8mm long, 13.1mm wide, 2.1mm thick and weighs 4.1g.

Post Medieval copper alloy rein guide or check rein hook. Probably from a carriage or coach horse harness, with a horn shaped finial to the guide and a hand cut threaded shank to screw into attachment point. Dates to between c1700 and c1900 AD.
The length is 74mm, width 50mm, and the thickness (at the collar) is 18mm.

A Mesolithic flint possible microlith. It is a narrow blade which is triangular in section and rectangular in plan. There is abrupt retouch at the distal end. This interrupts the milky patina to reveal translucent grey flint. The patina is also damaged at the proximal end but does not appear to be worked.

A complete lead seal of probable medieval date. The seal is circular in plan with irregular edges as a result of the stamped decoration on the upper face. The decoration consists of a raised rectangular element divided into four compartments with an arrow extending centrally from the upper edge. This feature is framed within a border of four raised pellets.
The metal is a mid whitish-brown colour and is worn. The seal is 28.1mm in diameter, 1.7mm thick and weighs 10.4g.

A cast copper-alloy Roman bow brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (Mackreth Group 4, flat wing ends), Mackreth 2011, 4.l, Plate 46. Dating from the late first century to second century AD. The brooch is a large and bulky example of the type and has tubular wings that are open at the reverse for the sprung pin mechanism, retained inside. The spring appears to have 14 coils.
