Apparently complete but worn cast copper alloy decorative plaque, possible belt fitting or mount of Roman date. The plaque (or plate) is sub-rectangular in plan and has a convex section profile from left to right. The back is plain but the front is decorated with the raised image of a boar running right. The boar is lacking detail but the eye, tusk, legs, tail & mane are all defined.
